If I complete it now, can I submit it to insurance when the 18 months has passed? It’s been slightly over 12 months since I last took that class. I’m guessing the program you linked is what I did for my first ticket. If I were able to get one on such short notice, would that help me in any capacity if I already have the ticket? I also have a first cousin with the same last name who is a cop (and I hope lives in state, but am not entirely sure), would I be able to get a family PBA card (which allegedly holds more clout) from them? Would they have to be a cop in NYS for me to do so? Obviously, I'm not entirely sure how this all works. If I plead not guilty, how long does it normally take to get called in? How much would it likely cost (both for guilty and non guilty)? How many points on my license am I likely to get (both for guilty and not guilty)? For not guilty pleas, are the fines or points ever removed after your court date? Am I eligible to go for a class again to get the points removed if I plead guilty, or is that only a one time thing? Will my insurance rates go up (both for guilty or not guilty I have Geiko, for reference). So, would it likely benefit me more to plead guilty or not guilty? I never had any points on my license due to such. I believe I pled guilty, paid whatever the fines ended up being, and took the traffic class to avoid getting points on my license. I got the previous ticket slightly over 2 years prior to this one (literally something like 2 years and a week or two between the two tickets). I've only ever gotten one ticket prior to that (also for speeding, which I believe was something like 45 in a 30, and that time in the town I live in) and have been driving about 12 years now. It was for speeding (70 in a 55) on a highway. I live in New York state (not NYC) and recently got a ticket in a nearby city also in New York state (also not NYC).
